Mid-State Filigree Systems Celebrates Grand Opening of Hudson Yards
MFS Delivered One Million Square Feet of Filigree for the Iconic Project
Hudson Yards, New York, N.Y.
Mid-State Filigree Systems, Inc. (MFS) celebrated their involvement in the grand opening of Hudson Yards, the nation’s largest private real estate development located in the heart of Manhattan. MFS was proud to have delivered more than one million square feet of Filigree for the tower construction throughout the two years of construction.
The week-long celebration culminated with a ceremony on Friday, March 15, that included U.S. Sen. Chuck Schumer, Martha Stewart and Sesame Street’s Big Bird. CNN’s Anderson Cooper served as the event’s master of ceremonies.
The Filigree used for Hudson Yards was instrumental in speeding up the construction schedule while lowering the project cost.
“We are grateful for the opportunity to offer Filigree to this monumental project,” said Harry Wise, president of Mid-State Filigree Systems, Inc. “We are proud that the use of Filigree was instrumental in delivering a cost-effective product in a timely manner.”
MFS has been producing successful Filigree products for the construction of concrete decks since 1968 throughout the Northeast.
